Reflective Essay

The assignments that we were ordered weren’t as easy as we thought they would be. They were tough and long. At the beginning I didn’t worry too much about them and did them as fast as I could. That was a choice that I should of never have made, luckily for me I got to see that mistake on time. With help and insistence from Mrs. Sheridan who kept on insisting day to day. Without her help id think I’d be looking towards summer school, but not anymore, now I’m looking forward to a fun summer free from school stress. Her persistence on telling me to do and turn in my essays was what played the biggest factor. My essays were simple and boring, so simple that it came to the point where my paper was full of mistakes and spelling errors.

The essays that I remember the most was on my argument essays, that in my opinion was one of the worst essays I’ve ever written. When the teacher handed me back the essays full of corrections she had made. I was so disappointed of myself, ever since then I established a personal goal. A goal that was established in order for me to achieve what I truly wanted which was improve day to day in my writing skills. Frustration came along after I saw that there was not much improvement on my second essays, but once again I proposed myself to improve. Now I took my essays to be revised by my friend who had also been enrolled in CC classes. Now with his help my essays were becoming better and better.

Perfection wasn’t possible, but at least I was getting closer to its day to day. Without their help I think I wouldn’t be writing this essays, because by this time I would of have already dropped out of that course. Now I can truly say that I have survived a college course class, of course with the help of my classmates and with the persistence of Mrs. Sheridan.
